TOIL- to work extremely hard.

GIBBERING- speaking rapidly and unintelligibly. 

DELINQUENTS- showing or characterized by the tendency of committing minor crimes.

INSIDIOUS- treacherous/ dangerous.

STREWN- scatter or spread things untidy over a surface.

HARLEQUIN- a mute character in traditional pantomime, typically masked and dressed in diamond colored costum.

PRAETORIAN- resembling the roman imperial bodyguard.

SEIVE- a person who can't keep a secret.

VEILED- having or wearing a veil or a concealing cover.

SACCHARINE- relating to or resembling that of sugar.
