SPRING SEMESTER PLAN 1

My SMART goal is to become an athletic trainer. I want to be able to work along side athletes and coaches no matter what level of the sport. That would make me happy because it has been my dream job ever since I started playing sports! I'm not thinking about how it's going to affect others because our SMART goals are suppose to be what we want, not anybody else. Me me me me!

SPRING POST 1: Music As Literature

Literature is defined by google as "written works, especially those considered of superior or lasting artistic merit". The question is can we consider music to be literature? OF COURSE WE CAN! We have all heard a certain song that we have fell in love with because of the message the artist is trying to get across. My point being that not only stories on pieces of paper but stories being told through songs can have lasting artistic merit. Merit is the quality of being worthy of deserving praise or reward. Artists and the songs they make are just as deserving of praise and reward as authors and their writing.
NOVEL-  a fictions prose narrative of book length, typically representing character and action with some degree of realism.
POEM- a piece of writing that part takes of the nature of both speech and song, and that is usually rhythmical and metaphorical.
RAP- to strike sharply.
SONG- a short musical composition with words.
OPERA- a drama set to music; consists of singing with orchestral accompaniment of an orchestra.
SYMPHONY- a long and complex sonata for symphony orchestra.
